Case Study: Andreani.com
It’s the biggest logistics firms in Argentina. They provide a different kind of services B2B and B2C.
The project consisted of the redesign of the institutional website based on hard data to generate greater acceptance from users.
We organized an interdisciplinary meeting gathering the branding team, product owners, designers and developers, to point out the main issues to be accomplished.
“The institutional web did no longer met the image or values of the company itself.”
— Branding team
Design Thinking Workshop
As I mentioned before I was in charge of organizing a workshop where we as a group discuss what we needed to improve and how to do it. Through different exercises, we define several bullet points we wanted to focus on and improve in the new design and layout of the web.
The new site needed to be:
Mobile-first
Clean & tidy
Friendly
Usable
Organized
Modern
Simple
Quick/fewer clicks
The Problem
The main problem to be solved was that Andreani had different sites for different functionalities, however, when people accessed the institutional site (first google search result) they couldn't find what they were looking for. That led to congestion on customer service lines when all information was available online only that people could not reach it.
The overall site needed a makeover both functional and aesthetic.
Research and data analysis
Gathering information for the call centre and using Hotjar, we found some interesting data regarding user behaviour, which of course we use later on to sketch and prototype the new layout.
Hotjar Screenshot - User clicks were the main source of information regarding interaction activity.
Who are we designing for?
Segmentation
Todo comienza con una idea. Tal vez quieras comenzar un negocio.
Devices
Todo comienza con una idea. Tal vez quieras comenzar un negocio.
High Fidelity Prototypes
We finally end up with two prototypes for mobile devices, one for B2C and one for B2B clients. Each one of them with customized content according to the type of services they need, to change from one profile to another we have a switch button in the navbar.
B2C clients generally enter the site to process the shipment of a package, to look up the status of their shipments, search for branches, etc.
B2B clients, as a company, seek to generate large-scale business with Andreani as their main logistics provider.
